the switches in the nest, dot overload at headquarters

stark and se 122nd

lowlife salon opening soon. 50th and division.

batting cages. super satisfying.

"teenaged nick cave on x" horse watches over wii bowling. the turks who had never bowled in real life did very well.

the fruit trees are blooming. my favorite kind is the thundercloud plum, but this is the foofy cherry kind that looks like heaven (if heaven was real).

we had a sushi party for kelly after the batting cages.

this hat of kelly's makes every photo awesome. this is not kelly btw, and please ignore the date stamping i pressed by mistake on my camera. 2008, not 1998 dude.

sushi party! we ate it all, then we went skating at oaks park. happy birthday kelly! i am so glad you and andrius moved to portland. chicago's loss is our sweet sweet gain.

I finally ate pigeon at le pigeon. sous vide! dude, thanks for coming to our show , but be careful that shark doesn't jump right into your mouth. it would be awkward.

woods and dirt and vertigo

i can't stop looking at it.

i have been on a pom-making rampage of late, and doing a good job of jumping many friends into my pom brigade (all inspired by jb spears, who brought me into the revolution way back in december). it is much better than knitting, in that it takes about 15 minutes and no skills to make a pom, and they are useless but make your life better. here two women make their first poms ever, and Octane (redeeming his breed for yours truly) models a gorgeous uncut pom.
a dokuchan field agent just briefed me today on Anthropologie's selling of poms, they are sold as a luggage accessory...DO NOT BE SUCKED IN. their poms are ugly, uninspired, and cost a lot of money. Our pdx posses' poms are beautiful, inspired by ocean flora or Gerhard Richter's recent windows for the Cologne Cathedral, and free.
DON'T BUY THE IMITATION POMS, MAKE YOUR OWN!
srsly.
