mom + lil bro repping hard in the dance contest. hasons like to dance.

while we were in the ocean ron said "i will remember this feeling and think of it before i fall asleep back in illinois"
this family vacation celebrating mary and ron's 40th wedding anniversary. they still both like and love each other - amazing! congratulations and big love to mom + dad.

yeah, i flew this rig. even better than skateboarding.

these little moth dudes were all over. so pretty! mom is a super naturalist/environmental educator so we have very nerdy discussions about wildlife on vacations.

the proof: eli and i flank norm (?) random canadian/new yorker finance guy on our last full day of the trip. photo by j gahtan, more on joe (and his rad family) in a future post.

i love a sunday hang

real one this time.

it was raining, we were walking, people thought we were insane. the rain was portland style, barely-more-than-mist, easily dealt with via a hoodie and scarf. everyone else bundled up in parkas and gloves and with their umbrellas, the temp outside a dangerous 62. weather alerts on the tv makes for a short line at pinks, i guess usually it's around the block. chili doggs w/kraut for breakfast. and onion rings. and pop in a bottle.

i eat a real hot dog maybe once every two years. this one was delicious. henry winkler thinks so too. photo by c. miller.

note: I did not actually use this computer.

no phones, cars, or internets for a solid week.

final plane leg was exceedingly delayed (it's currently 2:30a), photobooth will have to serve for a placeholder till results come back from the lab.
