I was there under the auspices of the burnside review (see their rad blog here see their website I take photos for here) a lovely literary journal edited by my favorite poet sid miller. sid and a bunch of others from the burnside review read during the festival, very nice all around, though I didn't win the trip giveaway mentioned several posts ago.

Aw, yea, there's my sweetie, hawking his wares. I'm so glad you got to see him and sit with him for a few minutes at his booth. He had an amazing time, and now he's the one pining for P-town. It made me sort of sad for a few days, and I had a pity party, but it's actually kind of cool here in LA, though I will go on and on about my "home town" if anyone will listen. I also got a new camera, digital (8 megapixels baby!), for my birthday, so I will send some pics of the sheer ridiculousness here in SoCal soon. I love you and can't wait to have you down here kickin' it LA style. I will show you Jesus Christ's star on Wilshire. You didn't know he was so famous, but he totally is.
