this weekend I ate burritos, watched a lot of movies, hung out with many friends, accomplished exactly one thing on my extensive to-do list, went to some parties, danced late into the night, read my new book for many hours, assisted with an easter egg hunt, and played taboo, none of which are documented here.

mom asked for more bodies

they are actual bodies crazy plastinated, either isolated systems (nerves, muscles, usually the skeleton too) or slices, as pictured here, via magic processes invented by german men in blue lab coats.

the germans have a weird sense of drama/art direction, and some of the bodies are in mad goofy poses, but it was a great show overall. I got to see how things work, like artificial knees.
this was the only specimen I could take pictures of, it was by the box office of the museum.
go google "body worlds".

lets end with a more palatable vision, but also body-related.
