Digest TV: Stuffed Veggies
By kmikeym from September 4, 2005
Welcome to a new segment on Digest called Digest TV. Ever since Ultimate Blogger we've been looking to push ahead with more video on the web, and this is our pilot of making a movie with just a small digital camera and iMovie.
Warning!!!: This is a 15 minute cooking show. An 83.44 MB movie file. It's BIG! But there is also a lot of info, including new ways to cut an onion and do it without burning your eyes! Plus original music! Starring your host Freddy, and guest starring Josh and Fiona!
DigestTV.mov (83.44 MB MOV)
And here is a downloadable PDF of the recipe: stuffedgoodness.pdf (52 KB PDF)

I want to applaud Mike's amazing editing--done within the limitations of iMovie no less! The still photo motion dissolves are specifically impressive...

Thank you both. I think we'l be reposting this as an MP4, which should reduce the file size dramatically!

Cool video. But where were you when my zucchini went wild? You inspired me, so at the Sacramento Tuesday farmer's market, I just bought:
red potatoes, zucchini, local garlic-jack cheese, and an onion.
Tonight I'll pick tomatoes and basil. Too bad my computer isn't in my kitchen, otherwise we could cook it together. You should submit this to a recipe contest!
And my niece is a natural. (as your agent, I could get you more money. For a cut.)

Wow, that did take a while to download but it was well worth it! Very professionally done, you seemed completely comfortable in front of the camera, and it totally made me want to go make/eat some stuffed vegetables!
