That’s why he won in Iowa and that’s why I started supporting him in 06 – because he talks about issues in a way that makes people listen, even when you might otherwise think that they wouldn’t care to (Evangelicals talking about the need for condoms in Africa? Say what?!). And all this weird infighting about race and gender (We’re all democrats dammit!) has been distracting and disappointing from both sides. So I’m glad that he’s back, and I cross my fingers that shit doesn’t disintegrate into bickering about who honors MLK more in tonight’s debate, because you KNOW the Clintons are going to try to bring it. EAT a good dinner, Barack!
