The US Accuses Venezuela of Secret Election Funding: I love Argentina's new PM Cristina Kirchner, I am on the fence about Hugo Chavez (formerly a fan, now unsure tho I think in general his for-the-people stee is admirable). BUT BUT BUT - the US government is so fucked, and I am feeling what Kirchner says about this all.

Not sure if you've seen this, but good insight into bottom up reformation as opposed to electoral yuletides in Argentina! Naomi Klein recently came and spoke here and gave a brief update that the positive developments that transpired in the course of that documentary are still up and running, which is awesome.
