RIP MADELINE L'ENGLE
"A Wrinkle in Time" was one of 5000 books I read in 4th grade that proved to me I could be, and would be, a writer. Love and peace to a woman who believed, wholly, in love and peace.
“Why does anybody tell a story?” Ms. L’Engle once asked, even though she knew the answer.
“It does indeed have something to do with faith,” she said, “faith that the universe has meaning, that our little human lives are not irrelevant, that what we choose or say or do matters, matters cosmically.”
Yes, applause for Madeline L'Engle. I am so thankful for the wonderful books like "A Wrinkle in Time" that saved my childhood and for any encouragement I can find that suggest that our little human lives do indeed have some cosmic consequence.
