RIP Adrienne Shelly, underrated ingenue of '90s indie films.
So sad.
Trust was one of my favorite love stories when I was wee: its cynical sweetness, and her character as a detached misfit, had a huge impact on my nascent existentialism (ha).

I would also like to mention that Hal Hartley's directoral tactics clearly influenced the speed-acting style of Gilmore Girls.
