I'm no cheerleader for synthetic drugs (or their manufacturers) but word to Gardasil, the HPV vaccine. The commercials just hit the boob tube and I find them curiously uplifting--especially the part at the end with the girls double-dutch rhyming "one less" and laughing happily, their bleak futures of cervical cancer and genital warts now relegated to history's annals (assuming Gardasil is actually affordable). Plus, that's our friend Kaki on the drums!
