In NYC, held by Pan American Musical Art Research. Lotsa bourgie-bourge stuff going on for this -- Symphonic Mexico at Lincoln Center para example -- but some related events sound really interesting, such as the Limon Dance Company reprising classic pieces from the 1946 season at the Joyce, and tomorrow a release party for BKLYN ranchera pop band Pistolera at Joe's Pub.

There's also a decent show of Mexican printmakers at the International Print Center. The below is by Artemio Rodriguez, who is clearly awesome.
