nice one, ‘cept one little thing–you named the blog well before you moved to nyc…sounds like you’re saying it was named partly because of the nyc-poodling thang.
Are you sure it wasn’t this deep psychological nugget underneath it all:
Shepherd = service that dogs provide for cowboys, aka “Cowboyz” + “Poodles” = “Shepherds”

Dearest bushprincess_29,
I send my very deepest regards re: your recent inquiry, as I found your punctuation repetition particularly astute.
Therefore, in response, I deemed it appropriate to educate myself on this troublesome matter by putting myself in your shoes ( or “kicks” as it were) in order to better understand the aforementioned position.
Yet, after my tireless research (renting both ‘City Slickers’ & ‘City Slickers II – the Legend of Curly’s Gold’ from Movie Madness) I can only conclude that:
a) What really matters in life is for each of us to find our passion, our “One Thing”, to quote Curly aka the ACADEMY AWARD WINNING J.Palance!!!!!!??????. Be you bovine-boy or bloody mutt, irregardless.

If I may put my 3 sek on this question I’d like to say that I was offended by the reader that had a problem with me being a poodle cowboy. Regardless of how they feel it is hard work rounding up poodles on my ranch and I always felt honored that j.shep named her blog after my lifestyle.
