Hi, I know you are not supposed to be like the Heloise of Hip Hop or anything, but: The other night I was playing an Old Favorite from my pasty days, AMG's Vertical Joyride, from his watershed almbum "Bitch Betta Have My Money".
Some kids were all talking about the new DJ Quik album. I remembered the AMG line: And now for some new improved shit/ word to the motherfucking DJ Quik/ I play hos like dominos...etc.
So I mentioned the pedigree of my retro music choices (i think i used the term "Old School"), but now I wonder, is there more than one Dj Quik?
