molcajete diary: the final chapter

For all 12,000-14,000 of you following my molcajete saga, it has concluded triumphantly! In the best valentine's day gift this year (second-best: Jaheim's Ghetto Classics fed-exed on 2/14, with love, direct from my boyfriends the Warner Brothers),
the very best v-day gift, mi madre pulled through and USPS'd a small molcajete, one my grandma bought her in Mexico in 1972! That's 34 years' worth of garlic and chiles populating the lava, waiting to ghost-season my secret guacamole and special salsa roja. WRD TO MY MOMS
