women didn't get the vote by voting

this is how we do... the 19th amendment. on the 85th anniversary of women's right to vote. today. someday i will tell you about growing up in "the equality state," the first state to give women the vote, and how it was part necessity, part ruse, and a failed attempt to lure some semblance of population... but not today. my head is aching. anyone know a cure for ocular migraines? the donnie darko vision thing is spiritually uplifting, but the whole "can't be in the presence of light" clause really slows my roll.
