It sounded good…but it didn’t turn out so great.
I always liked pictures, photos, drawings, etc. of really detailed still lifes. It appeals to my voyeuristic inclinations.
These were less about trying to be funny, and more of an attempt at story-telling. I’m still in the learning/experimental phase of comic-making…and I’m pretty sure this phase won’t end anytime soon.
Roll Call
Elliot acts as my post-it comic editor. He also makes his own post-it art. We not only work in the same office, but we actually sit a few feet apart from one another. Due to the close proximity of our computers, Elliot is often looking over my shoulder to snoop. Consequently, I hardly browse myspace anymore, which is probably a good thing. The configuration of our desks at work also allow for us to have lots of opportunities to collaborate and talk about how much the new Apprentice sucks and whatnot. My favorite of his post-it’s is the one of Tony Snow.
It should be self-explanatory….let’s just say I knew a lot of people who believed that sharing meant you had to give them stuff for free all the time.
These comix are meant to be humorous, I have a lot of love for my highschool male friends, and the ones portrayed in this image are a representation of the males that represented the majority of the hometown guys I knew who weren’t my friends.
