I've lost my political libido and I've decided to start over from scratch to find it. Forget what I've read, written and all that college retro activism I took part in, I'm crossing over. For now. I'm picking up books and reading editorials penned by politicians on the other side of the aisle. Not that I haven't done this in the past to keep up with the ebb and flow of bullshit rhetoric, but I'm looking at it again with a fresh eye. Stripped of the cynical defeatism of the last election, pure objectivity is what I'm after. Giving the other side a fair shot, I'm reexamining my own. And yes, maybe this will get the juices flowing again. But which way will they go?
