A New Project

We're changing things up again. It's been a while since we blogged the shit out of something, but we're starting again with a new project, Portland Place Reviews.

A group of PSU art students are doing reviews about public spaces in Portland that don't normally get reviewed. Things like post offices, puddles, grocery store restrooms, food eating competitions, and who knows what else. How could we say no to that?

Just a final note: Anything below this post belongs to the last thing we blogged the shit out off, which will soon be pushed off the front page as more reviews come in. If you want to see just the Portland Place Reviews you can click on that category in the sidebar.

How about reviews of billboards? bike racks? Businesses on W Burnside? Downtown corners that always smell like pee (like the stairs to the parking garages by Bush Gardens and at the other end of the block, past Peterson's)? Bridges over streets, not water? Public staircases (there's a book to these available at the library: http://catalog.multcolib.org/search/Yportland+stairs&searchscope=1&SORT=D/Yportland+stairs&searchscope=1&SORT=D&SUBKEY=portland%20stairs/1%2C5%2C5%2CB/frameset&FF=Yportland+stairs&searchscope=1&SORT=D&5%2C5%2C)?
